This beautiful handmade quilt is one of my absolute favourites from the past year — a stunning blend of Kaffe Fassett x Morris & Co fabrics and Kona solids in soft, ocean-inspired tones. The classic St Louis 16-patch pattern gives it a timeless look, while the bold mix of colour and texture makes it truly unique.
This quilt is lovingly crafted and finished with 80/20 cotton polyester blend wadding for a soft, breathable feel. My friend Cath Brough, The Cumbrian Long Arm Quilter, completed the quilting with Aurifil 12-weight thread in a beautiful Diagonal Plaid by Urban Elementz pantograph that adds movement and depth.
