This is my Optical Illusion Quilt made earlier this year with fabric designed by Sam Wilde for Free Spirit. He very kindly sent me a fat quarter bundle of his range 'Fluorescence' and I paired it with some Kona Solid Grey for the sashing and backing of this quilt.
I sent it to my friend Cath Brough, The Cumbrian Long Arm Quilter who very generously donated her time when she quilted this 64 inch square quilt. She used the same thread that I had used throughout, Aurifil 2600 50 weight and the pantograph Diagonal Plaid from Urban Elementz which perfectly compliments this geometric, modern design. The wadding is Hobbs 80/20 (cotton/polyester)
I plan to donate 100% of the proceeds of the sale of this quilt to Choose Love a wonderful charity who help people all over the world in whatever way is needed. Please do read about them. I am so pleased to be able to help in even a small way!
