My son in law Adam is a very talented artist and designer. When he's not working with me here at The Last Homely House, he is busy with the Foundation Press, which he runs with Debbie.
They make lots of wonderful things and run a lot of activities for children and adults alike, in arts venues all over the UK. This year they put together BRIEF OPPORTUNITY, a lovely riso printed activity book designed to boost your creativity and get you thinking differently.
There's a new double page with new activities each month for you to fill with your ideas. The briefs feature topics as diverse as a personalised tracksuit design, what to do with a leap year day, mosaics, the colours of spring, your least favourite domestic chores, how to draw the sun, what a monster looks like, the colour blue, unusual foods, and more!
Brief Opportunities was devised by Foundation Press in Partnership with Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, presented over the course of 2024.
